As Simon Bebbington was the head coach at the time of production, his signature means that he gives permission for the team's image as a whole to be used, as the team already signed permission to let their image be used by the club, and so by extension the head coach.

House Style Ideas: Masthead
1. I like the fact that they are all bold and large, which make them easy to see and read from a distance so the magazine can be found easier.
2. Fonts used are mostly sans serif, although some serif if used (Young Player of The Year?)
3. The clean, bold style connotes that the magazine is current and up to date with interesting, relevant news on sport, which is important to attract people to the magazine.
4. All mastheads use a big, bold font, most are white and use sans serif to make them easy to read, although colour is sometimes added to highlight part of the article, and serif fonts are used on some more stylised magazines. Most words used are short so they are easily to remember but often take up a large portion of the magazine.
5. From these magazines, I will use a large, white masthead, which will take up a large part of the page for ease of use (ie to read easier).

Marketing and Distribution Methods
Marketing/Advertising
Social media - free, interactive, reaches a large audience (digital natives)
As it's local, most likely ways to distribute my magazine would be:
Handing out at schools and sports clubs
Ezine - only available online
How a company makes an audience aware of their product, usually by spreading images and videos with information about their product/service.
This is important because without marketing methods, an audience wouldn't be aware of the product so it wouldn't be successful as no one would know how to get it.
TV adverts - above the line
Print (posters, flyers, billboards) - traditional, below the line

Advertising rates - how much a magazine charges advertisers (company, brand etc.) to advertise on the magazine
5 things to consider for charging advertising rates:
Size of the advert
Depends on region/type of magazine - what size audience it reaches (readership - how many people read it, circulation - how many are printed)
Quality of paper
Location in the magazine (backpage most expensive)
Creating the advert (magazine creates the advert for the company)
Media Pack - used to attract advertisers to a magazine/publication - containts information, e.g. demographics (age, gender, demographics, income/spending power etc.), advertising rates, readership, what the magazine is about

Distribution
How a company gets it's product/service to their audience, so how people can see it.
This is important because without distribution methods, products wouldn't be able to get to their audience enough, so it would fail.
